Join the movement to make history and build a future where children have the chance to access the life saving healthcare they need.
Sierra Leone is a country full of hope but it is still suffering the effects of a brutal civil war. Life is hard in Sierra Leone but it is the country’s children that are suffering the most.
Sierra Leone has the worst under-five mortality rates in the world – almost one in five children do not survive.
For all the work being done there is one fact that is holding back progress – Sierra Leone’s one million children have only two specialist paediatricians in government service and no facilities to train any more.
This is where The Welbodi Partnership come in. We have spent five years working with the hospitals, communities and government to build the systems and infrastructure needed to begin internationally recognised training in country. This year we have achieved accreditation by the West African College of Physicians – the last hurdle before training can begin!!
Now we need your support – we want you to help us start this training and begin a process that will change child health in Sierra Leone and change the futures of thousands of children every year. Children deserve the chance to grow up – help make this a reality.
A one off or regular donation will bring us that bit closer to making history.DONATE
